There are no pending firmware updates for my machine. 

Discover always lingered on that progress bar, when it was finished, especially
when there were firmware updates, however now this is not the issue. 

It's not lingering. It's not just taking its time while firmware updates or
other updates are happening. It's stuck. 

It's like it finishes checking for updates, but then never updates the window
to remove the progress bar and to show the updates that are available. 

The sidebar however will update its badge showing how many pending updates
there are.
