Antonio Rojas confirmed the issue as well on IRC (#archlinux-testing) but he pointed out that the issue depends on the typing speed for him. In my case, I can reliably reproduce the issue in two different machines (both running Arch Linux) independently of the typing speed. I have tried typing very fast, and also waiting a few seconds between the single accent key (´) and the letter key. I always get an 'a' instead of an 'á' with some applications.
