    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
      Version First master
       Reported In:
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux

          Assignee: [email protected]

SUMMARY
Controller/gamepad input not recognized as activity, causing power management
settings to dim the screen (if configured to do so) and the screen locker to
lock the screen (if also configured to do so).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set power management settings to dim the screen after a set duration
2. Set to lock the screen after a set duration
3. Plug in a controller/gamepad into the computer
4. Make sure it is recognized and inputs are being passed and applied
5. Use the controller/gamepad (in a game or applications supporting it) while
avoiding other HIDs (keyboard, mouse, etc.)

OBSERVED RESULT
Screen dimming and screen locking take over after their set durations
regardless of controller/gamepad input

EXPECTED RESULT
Screen dimming and screen locking never take place and the controller keeps the
session awake
