SUMMARY
Direct scanout makes HDR colors bad and/or washed out.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Get ready an HDR sample video (I am using #4 from here
https://kodi.wiki/view/Samples#4K_(UltraHD)_&_HDR_Formats)
2. Open in mpv, `mpv --vo=gpu-next --gpu-api=vulkan --gpu-context=waylandvk
Downloads/\(HDR\ HEVC\ 10-bit\ BT.2020\ 24fps\)\ Exodus\ Sample.mp4`
3. Double click inside mpv to enable fullscreen.
Also observed in chromium:
1. Enable Experimental Web Platform features
- chrome://flags/#enable-experimental-web-platform-features
2. Open a Youtube HDR video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJSc6VlbqnM)
3. Go fullscreen
4. Observe in bright areas
OBSERVED RESULT
In the reproduction example with mpv, colors turn washed out / grey when going
fullscreen.
In the reproduction example with chromium, colors in bright areas seem to clip,
when going fullscreen.
EXPECTED RESULT
Colors should not be affected by turning fullscreen.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
By setting `KWIN_DRM_NO_DIRECT_SCANOUT=1`, the issue is not present in any
application.
