SUMMARY
Brightness control disappears after resuming from suspend or reopening the
laptop lid. The screen brightness remains stuck at the previous level until log
out and log back in.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Boot the system normally
2. Put the system into suspend (sleep) mode or close the laptop lid
3. Resume the system by opening the lid or waking it from suspend
OBSERVED RESULT
The brightness remains fixed at the previous value and the brightness
slider/control disappears from the interface. Brightness keys and controls no
longer work. The issue persists until log out and starts a new session
EXPECTED RESULT
Brightness controls should remain available after resuming from suspend or
reopening the lid, allowing brightness to be adjusted normally
