On Krita 6.1.0-prealpha (git dd46adf) [though this bug was present when I last
checked in on Krita 6.x about a month ago], touchscreen functionality appears
broken. I am using a HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dh1xxx with no tablet
attached, and touchscreen functionality appears normal on even nightly Krita
5.x.x builds [I verified with 5.4.0-prealpha (git a6e2f35)]. I believe it has
something to do with the migration to QT6.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. On opening a new canvas, attempt to use any form of touch gesture
[two-finger zoom/pan, drawing on the canvas, undo/redo, etc] via the screen.
Result will not differ whether Wintab API or Windows 8+ Pointer Input (Windows
Ink) is used.
OBSERVED RESULT
The initial gesture will function as expected; however, afterwards, most
on-canvas functions will become unusable until the non-canvas sections of the
UI are hovered over by the physical mouse. Keyboard shortcuts do not break it
from this state, though still function. During this disabled state, the cursor
appears as the default windows cursor no matter your cursor settings.
EXPECTED RESULT
Touch painting should be able to function the way it did in older versions,
which is to say at all. I never experienced any problems like this in the past,
though interestingly two-finger undo and three finger-redo appear to function
better than in older versions of Krita (in non QT6 versions, it was
inconsistent, as I documented in this Reddit thread:
