The easiest way to get the debug symbols the Skrooge developer needs would be that if the Dr Konqi crash reporter appears, it should have a button to download the debug packages, I forget the exact wording. Then, click the reload button. Once it finishes reloading (it may take a minute), click the copy button, and paste the information directly into this report. > ..l can tell you this though, when i go to the Discover > repository and go to office programs, locate Skrooge program it is > indicating the program in the repository is Skrooge vers.25.4.0 however when > i clik to retrieve what is produced is Vers 26.1.20. Thanks, that's an important detail. The Skrooge maintainer will need to look into that, and make sure the releases are working properly. > i do have the same Plasma/Neon vers. on another computer and the Skrooge > vers 26.1.20 on the same computer and it is working perfectly so l can not > comprehend with the same program/OS on this computer it is constantly > crashing. I understand this frustration. Different machines can have subtle differences that cause this. Once we have the detailed backtrace we will know more. > I am using linux as an education but fear l have a lot more to learn. It > tends to be very rewarding yet frustrating in equal portions. Completely understandable! Learning an entirely different operating system is challenging, when you've been used to a different way of doing things. It's a lot like learning another language in that way. Hopefully we can get this crash fixed and remove at least one frustration.(In reply to Dave from comment #4) > Might l have a better chance to load Skrooge using a tar. build? Honestly, this might just complicate things. You're free to try. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
