Currently, hidden files (ie. anything that begins with a `.`) is hidden in the
file list, yet these files (`.clang-format`, `.clangd`, `.gitlab-ci.yml`, etc.)
must be edited like any other project file.
An option to display them would be very welcome, as well as files that out of
the tree and may contain useful user-specific options.
By the way many thanks to you KDE devs, Kate is a real work of love. I've been
using it for a few years now and I hope it will be my forever text editor. 🫰
