I just had this happen on Plasma 6.6.2, after disconnecting and reconnecting
earbuds
This has not happened until today, so the problem is intermittent.

1. Bluetooth earbuds had been connected, and playing audio normally
2. Took off earbuds and put them in the case for a while, was afk, the system
locked as configured to
3. Unlocked the session
4. Put the earbuds back in. They reconnected automatically as expected

Observed:
The bluetooth applet correctly showed them as reconnected.
They did not appear as an output in the Audio Volume widget
