A screenshot of the files on the network share before transferring. Date
Modified is as expected.

SUMMARY
Dolphin appears to not respect the file date modified only when copying from an
SMB share. When I copy a file to the share, metadata is preserved.

This also only happens when the share is accessed through Dolphin's "Network"
menu. I've added my share through the "Add Network Folder" on the top of the
window. When the share is accessed through the "mount" command, this doesn't
happen. It seems to happen more often with bigger files (>1.5MB) although some
files in the KB range were also effected. The same files get effected by this
every time, even when moved individually.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. I create a link to the network share in Dolphin by going to Network > Add
Network Folder.
2. In the dialog that appears, I select "Microsoft Windows network drive" and
hit next.
3. On the next page I enter the information for the share, which is a local IP.
"Storage"
"192.168.0.30"
"Storage
4. Once adding the folder is complete, I click on it in dolphin, enter my
credentials and then I have access. (Also, since re-doing this process, two
entries for each directory in the root of the share appear. Not sure why that
happens.)
5. I select the files I'd like to transfer to my local pc and either use
ctrl+x, ctrl+c, or the right-click menu to copy and then paste them using
ctrl+v or the right click menu to a folder on my PC (ie. my videos folder).

OBSERVED RESULT
Upon being pasted, particular files will have their Date Modified changed to
Just Now. I don't know what about the file could cause just those files to be
effected and not others.

EXPECTED RESULT
Metadata is preserved. I can get the expected result when mounting the share
with the following command:
sudo mount -t cifs -o username=name,uid=1000,gid=1000 //192.168.0.30/Storage
~/Mountfolder
Copying the files to my PC this way preserves the metadata no problem. It's
only when the folder is mouted through dolphin that the Date Modified gets
changed.
