slowmo video of opening the launcher
SUMMARY
There's a slight animation stutter when opening the application launcher or
when bringing back certain applications from panel like steam, discord. The
stutter doesn't appear on obs recording, uploaded slowmo video from phone.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open application launcher or have discord/steam open and minimize and
restore from panel.

OBSERVED RESULT
Slight stutter of the animation as the mentioned programs appear.

No stutter in animation

When running glxgears and repeatedly opening the app launcher glxgears reports
lower fps
Running synchronized to the vertical refresh. The framerate should be
approximately the same as the monitor refresh rate.
