Panel stuck as transparent
SUMMARY
The panel's adaptive opacity stops working after wake from sleep, and the
positioning of floating panels and context menus is also wrong (more details in
"observed result"). All of this gets fixed after turning the second display
back on.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have two displays connected
2. Have adaptive opacity and floating applets enabled
3. Turn off one display
4. It's broken
5. Turn the display back on
OBSERVED RESULT
* The opacity of the panel is stuck to transparent
* The panel's context menu is in the wrong place (in my case at the top of the
screen, but it may be because my second display is above the main one)
* Applets are mispositioned
EXPECTED RESULT
Opacity and position should behave as they usually do even after turning off a
display.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Fedora Linux 43
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.23.0
Qt Version: 6.10.1
Kernel Version: 6.18.12-200.fc43.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I have two displays, one above the other, the main display is the bottom one.
The second display is a cheap TV and it often doesn't automatically turn on
after wake from suspend, so I noticed this behaviour, but it doesn't have to do
with wake, it happens even if I just turn off the display.
