--- Comment #5 from MikeC <[email protected]> --- I am running plasma-login-manager 6.6.0-1 in Arch Linux, as a test with a view to switch from sddm, with the recently released plasma 6.6.0-1 packages. Because it is not possible for the plasma-login-manager greeter to use full power management and turn off the screen after a timeout, with no users logged in, this is a blocker for me in switching from sddm to plm for the login manager functions. If the plm greeter itself has the code written to allow the greeter to turn off the screen with no users logged in, after a specified timeout, then the current level of functionality for the plasma-login-manager would make it a much better option for the login manager than sddm, particularly as plm runs under Wayland and not x11. Also it would be useful to have sample files for /etc/plasmalogin.conf with example entries for power management, if the system settings for 'Login Screen' do not yet include power management timeout periods and related parameters. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
