test.txt
SUMMARY
When selecting text in Kate or Kwrite using the mouse, starting a selection at
the very beginning of the line causes the first word to be excluded from the
selection.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a new text file "test.txt" with a few lines of text, use the attached
example.
``2. Open "test.txt" with Kate or Kwrite application
3. Move your mouse cursor to the beginning of line 1 (before the character "L")
4. Hold down the left mouse button to start selection
5. Drag the mouse while still holding the left mouse button to the right to
select the text in the line
6. Release the left mouse button at the end of the line.
OBSERVED RESULT
The word "Lorem" is skipped in line 1. The same behavior can be observed in any
line of the file: first word is skipped.
EXPECTED RESULT
The program should select the content exactly as the user intended it, and
should not skip words.
