I happen to own 2x Samsung Odyssey G5 LS27DG500EUX, the firmware update on their support site worked for me, I'm on kwin 6.3.6-4. The specific firmware update is on this site https://www.samsung.com/pl/support/model/LS27DG500EUXEN/#downloads (couldn't find the site in english, sorry!) under the "Upgrade File(USB type),MAIN" URL. I now have the M-D5000GGZA-1006.2 firmware version on the monitors.
