            Bug ID: 510307
Summary: Elisa doesn't show new music in Albums and Artists
    Classification: Applications
           Product: Elisa
      Version First 25.08.1
       Reported In:
          Platform: KDE Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: matthieu_gall...@yahoo.fr
          Reporter: lsiton...@onebeam.us
  Target Milestone: ---

I posted this to Discuss and there has been no response in 11 days.

SUMMARY

I ripped an audio CD to mp3 format. I created a directory hierarchy with
Artist-Name>Album-Name under my music directory (which is registered in Elisa).
I copied the mp3 files into that specific directory for the album. When I
started Elisa I could see that it found new music. It shows up in Files, but it
doesn’t show up in Albums or Artists. I then tried rescan, reset database and
rescan. I forced System Settings > File Search to rescan the Music directory. I
copied album cover art into the directory. I checked file and directory
permissions.

Nothing I do has made the album show up in Albums or Artists. I can’t think of
anything else to try to fix this on my own.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Rip an audio CD to mp3
2. Copy folder to under Elisa's music folder
3. Open Elisa

OBSERVED RESULT

Music shows up in Files but not in Albums or Artists.

EXPECTED RESULT

Expect new music to show up.
