Bug ID: 510304 Summary: KDEPIMS-addon when calendar enabled under calendar events the tickboxes do not remain Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version First master Reported In: Platform: Kubuntu OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Calendar widget Assignee: plasma-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: u5vjzu...@mozmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 *** If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org If you're reporting a crash, attach a backtrace with debug symbols; see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports Please remove this comment after reading and before submitting - thanks! *** SUMMARY When you enable a calendar in calendar events in the calendar widget the tickboxes become unticked upon next viewing, making it confusing to disable a calendar from appearing in the widget. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add calendar to KOrganizer 2. Install kdepim-addons and enable calendar events plugin in the calendar/time widget settings 3. Go to calendar events option in settings 4. Enable calendar events and apply settings. 5. close and reopen settings and go back to calendar events settings OBSERVED RESULT The calendars previously enabled appear with a disabled checkbox, but the calendar events still remain in the widget, meaning it is hard to disable the calendars after enabling them. Also, if you enable a folder of calendars, all calendars in folder to not get tick symbol, and the folder's tick disappears upon next view EXPECTED RESULT When settings opened again all calendars that are being displayed in the widget should have the tick remain on to indicate which calendars are having their events displayed. Also, calendars in a folder of calendar should have their tick automatically turned on when the folder's tick is switched on.
