SUMMARY
Hi, during my research, I was unable to determine whether the following is
already possible:
I often encounter the following situation at work: my notebook is usually on my
desk. Two external monitors are connected. I categorize various applications on
all three screens. From time to time, I have to take my laptop to another area
of the company. To do this, I have to disconnect the external monitors. This
causes the content of all screens to be mixed together on the remaining screen,
which becomes very confusing.
It would be very helpful if the content of a disconnected monitor could be
automatically transferred to a virtual desktop. A separate virtual desktop for
each disconnected monitor.
As soon as the screens are reconnected, it would be best if everything were
automatically reversed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Arrange various applications on external monitors.
2. Disconnect these monitors
3. Reconnect these monitors

OBSERVED RESULT
Content of all screens is mixed together on the remaining screen

EXPECTED RESULT
The content of each disconnected monitor is automatically transferred to its
own virtual desktop.
When a monitor is reconnected, its content is restored and the virtual desktop
is removed.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is just an idea that could make working with KDE even more enjoyable :)
