            Bug ID: 508497
Summary: Opening and closing widget on one display moves focus
to MRU window on that display rather than MRU window
                    overall
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First 6.3.6
       Reported In:
          Platform: Kubuntu
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

This is on Wayland, if that helps. With a program focussed on a second display,
use a keyboard shortcut or mouse to open a widget (like the Clipboard or
Application Launcher) on the primary display. After any action that closes the
widget, the most recently used window on the primary display then has focus,
rather than the last window I deliberately gave focus to.

I understand that opening a widget on a different display makes it the
"current" one, but this should be temporary because not switching back to the
last used window is unexpected and awkward. It's most frustrating when I
accidentally paste into the wrong window.
