Hmm, I'm not sure this is issue in mpv side. Please notice that the same
version was working for me couple months ago before I reported this issue. I
checked logs and found that version 0.37 was first time installed at Dec, 2nd
2023:
$ apt changelog mpv
</cut>
mpv (0.37.0-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * New upstream version 0.37.0
  * debian/patches: Refresh patches
  * debian/libmpv2.symbols: Add new symbol
  * debian/docs: Update list of installed documentation
  * debian/control:
    - Add libcdio-dev to BDs
    - Bump required libplacebo-dev BD
    - Switch to pkgconf

Today we have in Neon is still the same version. For sure mpv was working for
me at 2024 year, but stopped at the first half of 2025. I'm not sure what
changed in between that time.
<cut>
$ apt show mpv
Package: mpv
Version: 0.37.0-1ubuntu4
</cut>

Second thing
Why mpv is not updated to the latest version? Only is installed 2 years old
version? I wonder what is the problem with update?
In Arch Linux we can find ver. 0.40, what was released at March, 2025.
