Here, on a normal, relatively modern Windows machine, it takes 2 seconds. A lot
of stuff is loaded from the database in the background: filters, MIME types,
etc. As Gilles already mentioned, the ICC profiles. I've always considered
opening the setup to be a small indicator of the machine's performance.
For example, we load the ExifTool filter list in a thread, because this would
actually take many seconds if the tab is active.
