SUMMARY
Adding the Dictionary widget and trying to use it crashes Plasma completely,
the panels disappear and the desktop is completely black. Plasma is fully black
even after rebooting the system.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enter edit mode, then go to add or manage widgets.
2. Select Dictionary widget.
3. Exit edit mode then, click on the widget.
OBSERVED RESULT
After clicking the widget , Plasma goes completely black, the panels disapear,
the Meta button doesn't open the application launcher. The only thing i can do
is open my terminal by using a keyboard shortcut. Restarting the pc shows the
Splash Screen for a longer time than usual and Plasma is still not working,
with a black background and no panels at all. I had to open dolphin from my
terminal, go to
/home/ragesoleil/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc , and using
Kate i deleted the lines that included org.kde.plasma_applet_dict, restarted
the pc and now Plasma works as it should. I tried a second time and the same
crash happens.
EXPECTED RESULT
The widget should open a window that shows the meaning of words that are
entered on a search box.
