--- Comment #1 from Tech-Tac <im.tech....@gmail.com> --- This turned out to be caused by a KWin effect "Morphing Popups" which re-adds the morphing effects shell tooltip popups had, and more specifically the second version of said effect, that added the morph to more types of popups which I assume includes the context menu. This should however not be a reason for KWin to flicker stuff like this.
