And I was about to report this as a bug.
The current placement of the tabs *below* the file path bar makes it look like
the tabs are - in split view - for each tab individually.
It is confusing to switch to a different tab and then the split view is gone
(because the other tab is not a split view tab) when the tabs are not at the
very top.
