His issue is fixed, but that was never the issue described in this thread. Just because he thread-hijacked with something else, and that other thing was fixed, doesn't mean the actual topic of the thread was fixed. Simple no? The issue reported in this thread is that the software appears to be doing operations on the UI thread that scale linearly with the number of photos, so as the collection grows very large, populating views becomes extremely slow to the poitn that it can start to lockup the UI. Per the original video I posted & many subsequent follow-ups.
