Bug ID: 502675 Summary: Display Configuration > Color Profile shows "None" when HDR is enabled, contradicting info tooltip Classification: Applications Product: systemsettings Version: 6.3.4 Platform: NixOS OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: kcm_kscreen Assignee: kscreen-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: heri+...@mailbox.org CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 180171 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=180171&action=edit screenshot showing Color Profile selector and info tooltip SUMMARY In System Settings > Display & Monitor, I have set "High Dynamic Range" to "Enable HDR". The "Color Profile" selector is greyed out and "None" is selected, even though the info tooltip (on the "i" next to the selector) says that the "built-in" color profile would be selected when HDR is enabled. This seems contradictory. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Connect HDR-capable monitor 2. Enable HDR 3. Check "Color Profile" selector and info tooltip OBSERVED RESULT The info tooltip contradicts the enforced color profile selection. EXPECTED RESULT The color profile selector is still greyed out and a setting enforced, just as it is now, but the enforced setting matches the info tooltip.
