Open Krita 5.2.9 2. Create a new document (1920x1000, 300DPI) 3. Select the Clone Brush Tool from the Toolbar 4. Press Ctrl-Click to set the clone source (circle with 'X' appears 5. Try painting with clone tool on canvas 6. Observe the Tool Options docker while switching between brushes in the Digital Brush section. OBSERVED RESULT _ The Clone Tool does not paint with the plain circle cursor; The circle with the 'X' is the one that moves with the mouse/pen _ The plain circle cursor (expected to paint) has no effect on the canvas. _ The Tool Options for the Clone Tool (Brush) are identical to all the other digital brushes. EXPECTED RESULT - The plain circle cursor should paint the clones area from the source (circle with the 'X'. - The circle with the 'X' should only mark the source, not attempt painting. _ The Tool Options for the Clone Brush should be unique, offering clone-specific options. Additional Info: - Issue persisted 100% of the time. - Hardware: Intel i7-9700, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GTX 1660, Wacom Intuos Tablet. - Uninstalled (with RevoUninstaller) and reinstalled Krita 5.2.9 five times - problem remains. - No Error Messages; Tool/Brush simply doesn't function as expected.
