Happy to help any way I can! I open the Find bar with the shortcut: "Ctrl + F" I just tested with a new user account as you advised and indeed KWrite (flatpak) 24.12.3 is working correctly! Does this still count as a KDE bug? Please let me know if there are any other data I can provide.
