SUMMARY

In Plasma 5, the "Touchpad" control panel had an option to exempt certain mice
from the "Disable while mouse is connected". I could exempt the trackpoint, and
thereby configure my system as follows:

* Enable touchpad when Lenovo trackpoint (built-in) is connected
* Disable touch pad when Lenovo trackpoint (built-in) is connected and an
external mouse is connected.

This option seems to be gone in Plasma 6.3.0

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma:
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2
Graphics Platform: Wayland
