I'll look into whether we can change the algorithm and remain compliant with
the icon lookup spec. It might be the right call here to simply delete the
Breeze-themed icon assets for 3rd-party apps, as otherwise we'll always be
playing whack-a-mole to catch up with what apps not under our control are
doing.
