Bug ID: 502353 Summary: Invisible selection of empty lines Classification: Applications Product: konsole Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: copy-paste Assignee: konsole-de...@kde.org Reporter: aspotas...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 179959 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=179959&action=edit screenshot SUMMARY Can't see what is selected when empty lines are part of the selection. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have some empty lines in the terminal 2. Select something, including the empty lines OBSERVED RESULT The empty lines aren't highlighted. When only empty lines are selected, it's hard to tell if something is selected and what is selected. EXPECTED RESULT The empty lines should be somehow highlighted. I'd prefer the old behavior (from KDE 3/4/5) where the full lines would be selected bespite them not having trailing whitespace. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: <priorietary> (Debian rolling release) KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.10.11-1rodete2-amd64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × Intel® Xeon® W-2135 CPU @ 3.70GHz Memory: 62.4 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Quadro P1000/PCIe/SSE2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
