SUMMARY
When browsing through kickoff, I noticed that the highlight or hover effect
that the elements on screen receive, are occupying each other's spaces
vertically. (Screenshot attached) This should not be. The gallery should allow
for enough space for highlights to not overlap.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Access kickoff
2. Move mouse across a few application icons vertically
3. Notice how the hover effect is taller than it should be
