If you select a folder, all actions to add clips move those clips into that
folder. So, in a way, this feature already exists. You can assign keyboard
shortcuts to all add-a-clip actions.
I agree that the double-click-to-add-a-clip is handy (personally I don't use
that at all, btw) but I am wondering whether having a double-click perform
different functions in the same area only based on horizontal spacing may be
not intuitive and even confusing or irritating.
