I have been noticing this on my system too. 

30Gb of reserved memory to the kwin_wayland process. 
Internal monitor has a scaling factor of 33.33%, external monitor is 4K, scaled
to 150%, and connected to the HDMI port of the laptop. I believe this wired
through the Advanced Optimus MUX. Both iGPU and dGPU are active.
