Bug ID: 501877 Summary: Resolution should not be reset when switching from ADF to flatbed and viceversa Classification: Applications Product: Skanpage Version: 24.12.3 Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: a.stipp...@gmx.net Reporter: sergio.calleg...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When switching from ADF to flatbed, the resolution is currently reset to the minimal available value. For instance, with my HP multifunction printer, switching from ADF to flatbed and viceversa causes the resolution to be reset to 75DPI. In 99.999999% of cases this is not what is wanted. The minimal resolution is typically useless for anything apart from quick previews. Switching from ADF to flatbed and viceversa should *retain* the current resolution. In case the current resolution is not available in the new mode, the resolution should be changed to the closest available resolution. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set a resolution 2. Switch from ADF to flatbed or viceversa OBSERVED RESULT The resolution is reset to the minimal available value EXPECTED RESULT The resolution should not change or change to the closest available value SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0 Qt Version: 6.8.2 Kernel Version: 6.6.83-1-MANJARO (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-4750HQ CPU @ 2.00GHz Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Intel® Iris® Pro Graphics P5200 Manufacturer: Notebook Product Name: W740SU -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
