SUMMARY
Whenever I restart my computer, and thus my plasma session, any settings such
as position of desktop icons and desktop wallpaper are reset.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set wallpaper or move icons
2. restart system
3. login and start new session
OBSERVED RESULT
Icon positions are squeezed back into the top rows of the desktop, which I
assume is the default, and wallpaper is also reset to default.
EXPECTED RESULT
No changes to my desktop layout upon login.

Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 24.10
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0
