I'm not able to reproduce this in newer KOrganizer versions.
I de-selected all working days in the Time&Date working period area.
I also tried turning-off system colors.
(and I found that a restart of kontact is needed after changing those settings
-- that's not good)
my Holiday color is pink-ish. but I'm not seeing a big block of pink-ish
background color.
could you let me know if there other settings you have that I'm missing?
