I'm really sorry... But I cannot reproduce this one either, at least not on my
plasma5/opensuse system. I copied the exact settings from your video but
everything felt nice and snappy :-(. Would it be possible to add another window
manager, something simple like fvwm2 to your system and test whether that makes
a difference?
