    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
           Version: 6.3.2
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: riso...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
I am using T480 with external monitor ASUS VG34V connected trough usb-c and
display port adapter, changing color accuracy freezes the system. The setting
persists effectively bricking the connection to that one specific monitor.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use Thinkpad T480 with ASUS VG34V and DisplayPort to USB-C converter
2. In display configuration change Color accuracy to Prefer color accuracy
3. freeze

OBSERVED RESULT
The computer got frozen/very slow, after 15 seconds the setting did NOT revert
back. After that, everytime I connected the external monitor the computer froze
and I could not change the color accuracy. I had to edit kwinoutputconfig.json
manually.

EXPECTED RESULT
Not freeze
