Bug ID: 501089 Summary: Cursor is not centred on login Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: 6.3.2 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Desktop icons & Folder View widget Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: pallasw...@proton.me CC: h...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY When I log into my PC, normally, the cursor is sitting at the centre of the primary display. Since 6.3, I noiced that the cursor is slightly off centre to the right. I posted about this on the discuss forum, and another user had noticed the same, but offset to the left. It seems the initial position of the cursor is offset in the direction of the second display? STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have two displays 2. Login 3. Observe cursor position before touching the mouse OBSERVED RESULT Cursor is off-centre in the direction of the secondary display EXPECTED RESULT Cursor is centred SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20250303 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0 Qt Version: 6.8.2 Graphics Platform: Wayland Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090/PCIe/SSE2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This seems to just be cosmetic but I don't know the inner workings so perhaps it's important, so just letting you know. Wasn't sure which component this should be filed against, either, feel free to move as appropriate. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
