If you can't reproduce it anymore, then I doubt there's anything we can do
here, unfortunately. :/
The next time it happens, please hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete and see if the buttons on
that screen also work; then report if they do or not. And please also attach a
journal log using `journalctl` that that includes the period of time during
which you were trying to log out but it wasn't working.
