The same for me, up and down: always crash.
I also see a difference between x11 and wayland when dragging a window to the
task bar:
In x11 the titlebar never hides behind the taskbar, but in wayland yes.
Today I upgraded my system to Plasma 6.3.1 and there is no fix yet =S
