Note from the screenshots: - Dolphin Settings - interface - Status & Location bars - "Make location editable" is enabled - There is a different icon set than Breeze in use, it's also not Oxygen I re-tested with git-master and Neon Testing on X11. I was still unable to reproduce, even with making Dolphin half screen exiting it, and re-starting it. It was still half-screen, and showed the location bar. What's the name of the icon theme you're using? While it may not be likely to be the cause of the issue, I want to test with the same icon set.
