Please put KWIN_DRM_PREFER_COLOR_DEPTH=24 into /etc/environment and reboot.
Does it still happen with that?
If it does please follow the instructions at
https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/wikis/Debugging/Debugging-DRM-issues to
get a drm debug log of the problem.
