Screencapture showing the hanging of the cascading menu variant of the app menu
How to recreate:
* Switch to the cascading drop down menu app launcher variant.
* Open it.
* Slide cursor up and down over the categories in the menu.
Result: App menu hangs intermittently rather than smoothly displaying each app
group as the cursor glides over it.

Symptoms of same bug?:
* Plasma hangs upon drag to top-center to maximize for the first time the
function is used after system start, may happen after login from sleep as well
* Mouse cursor may disappear for a moment after system start
* Plasma may sometimes hang harder, freezing the cursor as well, but only for
around up to a third of a second
I have not filed these issues separately as they usually resolve themselves
after the first few minutes of the plasma session being active.
