I have recently done a clean install and experience this behaviour. I had this
problem a few months ago but I muted system sounds and forgot about it. I came
across this bug report while looking for a solution so I shall post some
information about my setup.
Operating System: CachyOS Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0
Qt Version: 6.8.2
Kernel Version: 6.14.0-rc2-2-cachyos-rc-gcc (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor
Memory: 31.2 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
Display (DP) MSI G322CQP
I get a back-to-back disconnect reconnect sounds and these occur roughly seven
seconds apart. This is one loop:
