As its already stated, its REALLY annoying, when list of networks refreshed
just before the click. And it happens quite often to be noticeable and
frustrating.

Unexpected changes of input elements under the cursor is bad, and should be
avoided. Just look how chrome did that with tab lists: tabs will never be
expanded/rearranged, if mouse cursor in that area. Any changes are happening
either as a result of explicit user actions, or when cursor is away from that.

Even a notification of "list will be rearranged soon" would be helpful to avoid
misclicks. Like, for example, in plasma 6.3 notification popups have small
timer bar, which shows when popup will close. It would be nice and consistent,
if networkmanager applet will show similar timer bar before refreshing the
connections list.
