Seems like there is indeed a specific pattern behind this. When "forcefully"
closing the start menu with ESC or its own button, width accordingly restores.
On the other hand, width change only persists when deleting the content of the
search box manually, like the video demonstrates. That's the only case where I
could trigger this bug manually.
