Usually, several Artists work on one Album or the Album is an Compilation. For
that use case, most Music Players sort by Album Artist in the Artist view and
not the Actual Artist of the Song.
For example i have an Album called AD:HOUSE 6, from an Artist called "Diverse
Systems". This Artist does not show up in the Artist few, instead every Artist
that worked on this Album is shown independently, so 15 Artists. So its
impossible to find this Album via Artist --> Album approach, i have to go in
the Album view.
As i have too many albums, this is simply not usable. Sorting Albums by Album
Artist should be the default imho but at least an option. The Artist View shows
me several hundred artists and so is basically not usable as i never heard of
most of these people and even if, if i click on them, i just get like 3 songs
spread over 3 different album.
I've seen several related bugs that are all based on this issue like
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=484556 that would all be fixed by changing
this behavior.
