Sorry for the noise. This was operator error. In my defense, the printed
manual can't be read, even with a magnifying glass. Today I zoomed in on the
.pdf manual. There is a switch to select Bluetooth or non-Bluetooth wireless
operation. I can now pair using Bluetooth.
